The Brief

The Sales Team looking after the core NPD lines at Primo had one goal, have their three new NPD lines ranged into one of the largest supermarkets in Australia. The mission was a success.

Brand Strategy

Create an event that ignited relevance and sparked imagination among
the client & consumer.

Project Management

Our team created, managed and facilitated the event from start to finish.
We had an employee at the event every night of the five night event.

Graphic Design

Create marketing collateral in the form of recipe flyers to include in the take home packs for each attendee. Brand coherence was kept standardised across all artworks.

The pre-work

Brainstorming Session

We sat down with the Primo team and had a typical client-agency meeting, a chat over breakfast with our coffees cooling, while we chatted all things food.

Our main task – to come up with an idea that would be memorable, relatable & relevant to the consumer, yet strategic & value adding to the client.

The end goal – a five day cooking class event where the lucky 100 attendee’s were given the opportunity to learn how to make their own pizza & pasta from scratch!

The relevance to Primo? The scrumtous toppings!

 

Event Planning

Go big, or go home.

Our event was all about making a statement. 
We sourced the perfect location – the Woolworths Head Office culinary rooms. It’s a great space to have a large group of people, and is set up as a teaching style area – perfect for our idea!

The prep was enormous for this event – but our team handled it all, executed it with brilliance and enjoyed watching the happiness fill the room on each night of the five day event.

Merchandise was sourced for the gift bags. We got creative with our budget and negotiated rates with wholesalers so we were able to gift each attendee a Jamie Oliver Pasta Machine along with Primo ingredients, recipe cards & a printed Primo apron – how’s that for branding!

Fast forward to Day-1….it went off without a hitch. Attendees loved it! Everyone got stuck into making their pizza and pasta dough, cooking up a storm with all the ingredients and then finally it was dinner time! Primo is served!
